Just because doesn't mean you should, this is far from a proper habitat for goldfish. Goldfish are a large species of carp that can grow to 14+ inches, they can have long lifespans of 15+ years with proper care.

@@ap7208 Do you know what a goldfishs lifespan is? Seven years is still young. The goldfish in my pond are going on ten yet now and I expect to have them for many more years to come. They are all around 8-10 inches. Goldfish are a large species of carp, they are high ammonia producers and thrive in cold waters with at least some current. To properly care for a goldfish you need plenty of room, good filtration and ideally a few other goldfish since they are a social species. A cheap, poorly bred pet store fish can live 15+ years, a heathier gold fish with better genetics can live much, much longer.
