Nice. Clever circuit - I had to look at it for a minute to work out how you were alternating between red and blue.

Where is the circuit? Am I supposed to reverse engineer it by playing and pausing 100 times?
@silverywingsagain2 жыл бұрын
Cute. It probably isnt too much of an issue since youre pulsing current but it's much safer to have each 555 control an NPN transistor that provides the current to the LEDs. Running it directly through the outputs will shorten the life of your 555.

Why not use a 556 instead of 2 555?.....NO?.SL2. PS. Your projects are very useful for us amateurs. They all help. Thank you. The translation is electronic, it could contain errors
@manoharmanu14602 жыл бұрын
good point , my guess is the cost since he makes so many circuits, the 555 in bulk is very cheap
@Ricki63-Ok2 жыл бұрын
@@manoharmanu1460 It depends too! of the costs, yes! in each country. Here in Argentina everything Electronic is imported. We are very far from Europe etc. In any case, here the difference in these cases is minimal. Due to the convenience of space and not using the same material twice and.... knowing that you could do the same with the same and unique! integrated. Savings seemed beneficial to me more than anything, as I say about space. That's just nothing more. I continue to struggle with the pride of knowing that you respect us by always putting! The circuit. Subscribers?!....they will come more gradually. Those who have more than 1k disgust me?....no! they put no circuit. But the only thing they get is that.Veneficial satisfaction of just one Like.But they don't sleep with a clear conscience.Nobody knows how these projects are made?...because nobody! know those circuits to build them. Thanks to you! for all this. Thank you very much. THE TRANSLATION IS ELECTRONIC AND COULD CONTAIN ERRORS. Bye ;)

That is a very old chip.I built a very similar circuit back in 1978. I used the dual 556 chip, (Which is two 555 circuits packaged in one chip.)

Ardunios make things so much easier and more versatile.
@MC-emmcee2 жыл бұрын
@@rippalmer6296 Maybe, but I see these as standalone, one board soldering projects using components that cost just pennies and that many may just have laying around. In that respect they are fine. However, using an arduino adds costs (for the arduino), understanding a little of how code works and also adds a bit more complexity as to the design process (possibly using breadboards and all the tittivating that involves).
@nassrallahtalbi85322 жыл бұрын
@@MC-emmcee But it makes your projects open source and scalable. It can also be welded into panels if the piece is nano or mini. It is also designed to be easy to use. However, it is not complicated unless your projects are complex. It is also compatible with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS... .

Arduino is overkill for such a simple circuit. You can get 555 ICs for like 100 for $5. Making a set of strobe lights using an Arduino is like using a blowtorch to light a tea light candle.
