This is a perfect hair style for Oktoberfest 2019 ! I needed something for this weekend that will hold tight and not slip out like a braid or twist will . I have just past my shoulder length, straight hair with many short layers. I feel like most crown braids would not stay put for 12 hours , even with pins it would move and slip down . No one wants to have to keep worrying about a thing like that at an event, so the little elastic rubber bands are a great solution ! I plan to curl my straight hair a bit so that the ends will go with the flow. Thanks for this great video( 3 years later ) and for the wonderful details in it !

this is great! would this method work with curly very short hair? my hair fell out completely Dr on sickness now it's growing back really good but I'm tired of wearing short hair.

I'm pretty sure it would! With shorter hair, I would make a bit more ponytails and have them closer together though! Let me know how it works out if you try it!😘
