You fkn crack me up man. Nobody else gives such dark philosophical wisdom along with their music tutorial. Merry Christmas, love your work

That is the best Christmas song I've heard in quite some time, Julian! I wish you had a video to go along with a full song. That would be my Christmas post this year. Love this man! Merry Christmas, brother 🤘🏻

Amazing work as always, @juliangrimm 👏 Hope you had a great holiday season! Here's to more videos from you in 2024 🎉 Totally on point with the bells! 90's British boy band East17 released their Christmas song and it was about breaking up with a loved one. The only things Christmas about it were bells on the last choruses and fake snow in the music video 🤣 As far as I know , the difference between glocks and xylo's is that glocks have metal bars or tubes, and xylo's have wooden ones 👀

There's an interview from Rob Cavallo and the engineer from American Idiot where they talk about adding a 3rd guitar to make it sound bigger in parts. If I remember correctly I think they say on the video that 3 guitar takes at the same time it's kinda the sweet spot to make it sound big yet controlled. I know that was way back in the day now, Green Day has a very classic sound overall, and for heavier things quadrupling (if that's a word) guitars is normal but caught me by surprise the fact that you quadruple your guitars sometimes.

Great video Julian! I really like seeing how others approach recording their own songs. There are so many options/tools/softwares out there these days. Some of these were new for me.
