Oh so pretty. Thanks for doing all of the Christmas videos. I haven't seen a lot of folks doing them. I started my Christmas sampler in Nov. and still working on it, but I'm getting a lot of great ideas for next year! Thank you, Jessica.❤

Lovely project. Question, what stitch length do you use when you quilt on your machine?
@jessica_dayonАй бұрын
It depends on what I'm quilting and the look that I want. Here I think I did a 2.75.

Okay this is a challenge I can manage as soon as I finish my cat quilt and get it to the quilter. I have several QOV’s in the works, so a block I’ve never made before will fit right into those. I still need to press my “tiny pieces” quilt-which turned out fabulous, btw-and stitch the “victory lap” around it. Was that the October challenge? I think I skipped November, maybe. I so enjoy your videos with my coffee in the mornings! ❤
@jessica_dayonАй бұрын
Yes, the tiny piecing was October. November was the stocking but you mentioned in a comment that you were going to skip that one. Thanks for watching!

You know, I'm not sure. I'll look into it.
@anaf.848Ай бұрын
I'm curious; you mentioned that normally you wouldn't iron your pieces first, but did so we could see the layout. Is this just for convenience, or does it help you assemble the block easier by not ironing first? Thanks 😊
@jessica_dayon28 күн бұрын
I typically prefer to finger press instead of iron press. I find that finger pressing gives really great results, with no warping, and saves time too.
