You can find the exact measurements in my pattern here sweetcinnamonroses.com/products/super-easy-bag-sewing-pattern ❤️ Just make sure your lining is the same size as the outside fabric ✂️✂️✂️

If you have pinking shears use them when trimming the rounded corners!
@sweetcinnamonroses6 ай бұрын
Yes. You totally can but it’s not needed as the seam allowance is hidden on the inside. But yes. If you like to use them… Yay!

Wow.. Beautiful work... If I may ask , which machine do you use? Im looking at options to upgrade my current Brother . Thanks in advance

I’m sewing on a Janome M7 (it’s the big sister of the 6700p). Love both machines ❤️
@azeejafouad3 ай бұрын
@@sweetcinnamonroses oh wow.. Infact Janome 6700P is on my list of options. Would you recommend the 6700P to someone who is making pouches & organisers to sell? Im confused if i should go for this or an industrial Juki may be. Any guidance would be helpful 🤍
@sweetcinnamonroses3 ай бұрын
It’s very similar to the Juki I would say. Of all the Janome machines the 6700p is the most industrial I think. Mostly metal, durable and a workhorse. But I would always suggest test driving her locally. See what you think using her.

@@sweetcinnamonroses Thank you for your suggestion, I will definitely test drive the Janome machine to gain a better understanding. Your input is greatly appreciated, especially considering your experience with a higher model. While I have always had a fondness for Bernina machines, budget constraints are currently influencing my decision-making process. The value for money offered by Janome at this point is certainly a factor I am considering. Your advice is invaluable, and I will carefully consider it as I make my final decision. Thank you for your help ☺. Take care.

Ahhh so glad I could help a little. And I agree, I do like Bernina and Pfaff as well but you get a lot more for your money with a Janome machine (especially the 6700p and M7). Good luck and please let me know how it goes ❤️

They are beautiful, if you don’t mind me asking what is the name of your sewing machine?

I have the Janome M7, that’s the bigger sister of the 6700p that I had before which is equally amazing ❤️

The floral print I’m using is by Heather Ross and pretty much all the other prints are by Ruby Star Society ❤️

Made this twice! Tips for people doing it for the first time: - This took me about 2 hours to do - a bit long for a pouch because of the quilting part; skip this step to save time. - Do not buy that quilting foot she’s using, it works just fine with a regular foot. - Acquire a bulky seam jumper prior to starting if your domestic machine has a hard time with thick pieces. - USE THAT ZIPPER FOOT YOU’VE BEEN AVOIDING! Yes, I’m talking to you! - Thinner fabrics with lightweight interfacing work the best before adding the batting. Medium/heavyweight will make you struggle a bit more.

Yay. So glad this was helpful. Regarding the quilting bar, most machines come with one. No need to buy it. Yay!!
@local_human5 ай бұрын
@@sweetcinnamonroses I added the bit about the quilting bar because I have 3 machines and they didn't come with one and immediately looked up what it was. Just in case anyone saw that and was reconsidering doing the project because they didn't have one.

No way!!! Three machines and you don’t have it.. Dang. I’m glad you figured out a workaround ❤️
