Can't thank you enough. This tutorial was straight forward and easy to follow. So many KZbin tutorials are full of useless content and act more as ego gratification for the creator. I'm not tech savvy at all and I was able to have a reaction video ready to upload in just a few minutes. Question - If I record using OBS like this, is there a way for me to switch between my camera recording me as the focus and then also what im reacting to then being the focus (with my face cam then in the bottom corner)? I’m curious how youtubers go from the full screen being their face cam and then when reacting to a video, the face cam being in the corner. Hope that makes sense…

@@rivelhd. so I kind of figured out a way to do this. I just set up scenes for each one. “Talking head” where it’s just me full screen. “Reaction” where I’m in the bottom corner and what I’m reacting to is my screen recording in full screen. And “Screen” where it’s just the screen recording, no me reaction. Once you hit record, just keep OBS open on another screen and switch between the three scenes. It’ll record as one video, but will switch when you click between the three scenes. Hope that makes sense lol

Thanks for the tutorial. It wasn't as difficult as I thought. However, I did notice that MY audio was really low, the video audio was fine and I was able to adjust it (per your instruction), but I will be using a clip on microphone or either the stand up one (Can't think of the name of it) but would like to know how to change the settings to A. Allow the webcam audio to sound better. B. Change the settings for either of the two microphones to work. Also, I had no idea that while recording a reaction, that you couldn't see yourself reacting! LOL. (Not that I need to) I just didn't know. Thanks for the help. JC

It records beautifully but it ends up having double audio despite following your directions exactly. Would you know what might be causing this?

Hey! I haven't tried any of this yet, but just guessing it sounds like it's recording a reverb. Try listening through headphones and having the audio record from that source instead of your speakers. I've noticed a lot of react and gamer videos have headphones on, and this may be the reason.
