Thanks brother Do you select the 25 books you want to read at the start of the year? If so what is your plan in your decision make process? Understandably you would have quite a few focused on productivity but do you have a selection of theological, devotional, biographical ect..? Do you also have a built in mechanism for this to change as needed?

I don’t really plan which books specifically. I have a pile of books I’d like to read and as I finish one I just choose whichever one I’m most interested in next. It’s always changing and sometimes I’ll be recommended a book mid year and it jumps to the front of the line.

I doubt I’d ever finish a book if I didn’t do this. Then again, some books aren’t really worth finishing 🤷‍♂️

I'm thinking with non-fiction books to start making notes on what I learn from reading each chapter of a book. What do you think?

I think that’s really smart. I met a biographer once who said he did that for every book he’s ever read. Just wrote his notes write on the first page of each chapter.
