So many great ideas in this tutorial. I struggle to use anything other than paper and digital kits ❤

Cool 😄 I particularly liked your gesso, spray and stamp page. Will be playing with that, and will really enjoy throwback finger painting! You so know that’s why it’s so much fun- it’s great to be 4 again! XX😂

Awesome! So tired of starting a video, only to see it'sNOT a junk journal at all, just exactly like 100 others and the end result looks like a cloned generic product. This is so refreshing to see items used from YOUR day to day life, not purchased and destroyed to mimic an effect. Bravo!

Looks great. This is fun watching you create this. Even outside your comfort zone, it's still going to be great. ❤

I was so impressed with what you did with the brochure page! I forget to use gesso in this way! I’ll be trying that quite soon! Love to see you work outside your digi kit comfort zone! I did many journals long before I discovered digitals!! I can’t wait to see the finished journal!! You have so much creativity! Thanks!! ❤❤

Hello Rachel ❤ So much fun to follow along how you make this junk journal. Like a deja vu how it begun before digi kits etc.

Your stamps will stick to your blocks better if you remove the opaque film from the block use a pin to get it started and remove both sides and then you will be able to see where you are stamping. Amy at craftycat was struggling with the same problem. Blessings from Canada 🇨🇦

Oh... I am so looking forward to this junk journal. I was the one who gave you the challenge (maybe someone else also did it?). I was totally out due to flu for 2+ weeks then I was busy with my daughter's graduation. I was making small lapbook folio albums for the other kid's graduation gift and just had time to catch up on your videos. I love your take on a true junk journal. Travelling is a great time to gather pretty junk. The junk that you collected can then be used to make a travel journal for that travel. I did it, too for our big vacation last year. But, I also cheated - I printed some digitals before the trip and worked on the journal throughout the vacation. I am going to watch the next part of this true junk journal now. PS: never feel sorry for not/being late at responding messages. We know you are busy. There's never enough time between family, crafting, running your business, filming for KZbin and a million other things. You need to make a priority and do whatever is necessary first. Hugs 🫂

Very, cool. I love how you look at a brochure and see possibilities for a journal page. That brochure now looks amazing as a page!

I am know to use my fingers to apply gesso too 😊. It’s fun! ❤ This is a cool idea as far as the junk collected. For every trip or excursion you could make a small journal with these items and add pictures as part of the decoration. (I’m sure you are doing this with those cute little pictures you shared in your last video). I actually have some pamphlets and such for the area I live in. I pick them up at the travel plazas or rest stops on the highways near my home. Also, some restaurants will offer things as well. The restaurant, Cracker Barrel, is one I have seen have free junk 😊 Some small local restaurants/diners will have them too. You just have to be a Magpie and keep an eye out. Lol Such a fun project! Hope you are well. ❤Xxx

Love This! 🥰 Looking forward to seeing more! I've done one "pure junk" one that I've used as an example to show the concept to others. Love the use of touristy bits too; I think you mentioned before about using those. 🤣 Fingers in the gesso 🤣 Oh my, I'm trying that technique next time! I had white gesso from The Works and it went on so poorly using a brush. Definitely going to have a go with my fingers next time and see 😂
