Thank you for sharing this process. It was very instructive on more than one level. For instance, it's an artistic journey but the interplay with your knowledge of particular tools is very revealing. I would say that, having watched this, the tool is less important than one's familiarity with how to get a particular result from the way one chooses to use it. At the same time, experience with those tools is fundamental to one's ability to adapt them to an intended purpose. Finally, really nice tree branch! Made me want to do it without knowing what the heck I would do with it

Thank you! I have tried some in the past with much less success, but your tips have increased my level of confidence. I have some pieces that have been waiting for the right technique/design, and I will definitely be playing with this idea!

This is great! I’ve been wanting to create something like this for ages but wasn’t sure where to start as most pieces I’ve seen are either electroplated or cast, and I don’t have the tools for either. Thank you so much for this, I have tonnes of wire!! 😁

hello chris I can see what you are doing but when in the past with my jewellery making and have needed a small branch like you are making I used a twig of a small tree branch and investment cast it, look after your self ken walker UK
