watched it again, as you do, and thought the screw marks would go away with a bit uv resin in the holes I think. Worth a try.

Only you could turn a mistake into something so beautiful. I love your pyramid boxes, when you post them do you also pack in bubble wrap and another box ? I was wondering how I need to package resin jewellery for posting, does it need a box to keep it from being damaged ? Only just started with resin and I am hooked ! I was always too nervous to try it thinking how complicated it was but watching videos on KZbin has made me realise that resin is very versatile. You are all so generous sharing your time and experience. Many thanks xx
@LouiseSingletonCreations4 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much. Yes, lots and lots of bubble wrap after the box. Bubble wrap directly against resin can mark it so that’s one reason why I designed the box. Another option to protect the resin is glassine paper. Resin is not half as scary as people think. You just need to go for it . Expect and accept the mistakes because they will happen but you will learn something every time.

Omg this is a wonderful idea Louise singleton, you are so clever, you could maybe resin the hinges on instead of screws! I love it 🥰 thank you so much for sharing, I love your work, you have inspired me so much with these pyramids, thank you, I love your boxes as well.

All of your creations are so wonderful! Have you thought of making a permanent barrier out of silicone to use so you don’t have to keep making them for each hollow pyramid?

I wonder if silicone would’ve worked where you used the plaster? Maybe be able to reuse it?
@LouiseSingletonCreations3 жыл бұрын
Yes it definitely would. I recently did that in my terrarium video and it worked really well.

Do you dry your flowers in a food dehydrator?
@LouiseSingletonCreations Жыл бұрын
No I use silica gel. The small flowers were purchased already dried the large one was hung upside down to air dry.

Try silicone next time for filler maybe that will pop off the bottom part of the mood easier.
@LouiseSingletonCreations2 жыл бұрын
It would have been loads easier I agree but I didn’t have enough silicone at the time.
