Ofcourse, Akshay you are absolutely correct. I had one friend who wrote around 85+ skills in Resume and he could not defend that in the interview since he was just boasting about many skills which he knew just at the basic level and some of the skills were definitely his strong points. He was rejected most of the times and I used to wonder why was that happening if he knew so much. The main thing I understood was that be original what you are and that originality should also be reflected in your resume, and you will make wonders.

Actually this really works like when i uploaded my resume with a experience of "Full-stack developer" i was getting jobs related to full -stack developer and then i changed my company and changed it to "Software Engineer" and then i was only getting software engineer jobs. Single page resume really works , make the lines crisps and appealing to people and be clear and if you make something bold that increases the weight of that word.

Spend time equally every day for job search on portals, careers sections 5. Stay active on LinkedIn, showcase your skills and approach people 6. Try getting into startups, that will also help you cover up the learning curve of your gap And most importantly, be confident and start giving interviews ASAP. Give as many as you can. Writing a single page resume is not a good idea. Many of the times interviewers are not best of the engineers, they simply underestimate single page resumes . It's a personal opinion based on some weird interview experience
