Purchased this pattern yesterday, made the hat today, best bucket hat fit ever!!! The pattern pcs are properly sized so that it is not a battle to fit the sides to the top nor the brim to the sides. The sides are deep enough for the hat to come slightly over the top of the ears, the brim has a very nice width without being too wide or too narrow. I'm pretty certain I'll be able to wear this hat without having to hold it onto my head when the breezes blow! Absolutely Perfect!!

In addition, I appreciate your saying interfacing was needed (to give the hat some shape). Other videos haven't done this. cut the 2 sides and top out of scrap fabric.(just 3 pieces for fitting sample ) pin sides to your head so it’s comfy. Measure what needs to be shaved of each piece keeping ⅜” seams. You will need to shave off very little from the top piece to fit. Once the sample fits, then that’s your new pattern
