Would this be too big for a bookmark? This is the best tutorial I've seen but they might be too big for what I need them for. I was thinking I could half it but im not sure

I really enjoyed this video for the most part. The only problem I had was the last part with the strap. I think it would help if you explained that part a bit more. I did all the other parts really fast but struggled for a while with the strap. Just a suggestion. Thank you so much for the video!
@NotchesSewingКүн бұрын
Thank you! I truly believed I demonstrated very clearly... You can always adjust to a slower playback speed in your settings on the video. PS- you now know how to finish lining a sleeve in a jacket. It's the same method😊

Angela, you made me love making bias tape and less afraid to use it in my projects. I've used many of your KZbin video tutorials because instructions are all easy to follow. Thank you
@NotchesSewingКүн бұрын
Thank you Kate! Don't be afraid of using it. The worst thing that will happen is you might get a slopping looking project. But a bit of unpicking and starting again will fix that. Always try on scrap first if you're not sure and remember no one is marking you on it!😃. I'll have another quick binding project soon.

What a super tutorial!! Really like the tips of the stitching at the turn opening and will definitely use it on the next ones I make! Also the tip of using the corner point as a straight stitch guide!! Your videos are in best practice category- all you do is easy to see with clear view and instructions! Been a subscriber for awhile now!! Many thanks from southeast Texas!❤

Your tutorials are always SO easy to follow!! I am wondering, though, why you didn't suggest prewashing the Wrap N Zap first. I googled it and it recommended soaking it in hot water for 20 minutes, rolling in a towel to wring it and air dry. I did this as I don't want the batting to shrink inside the preshrunk fabric. I made two for my son, and knowing him, they will end up in the dryer after washing! Regardless, it is a great project, and I know I will make many more! Thanks, Angela :)

I have that detail down in down in the details of video. I never put in the dryer so haven't had an issue. Thanks for watchinng.

What's the smallest one you've made? I made one this size and then another using 6 1/2" squares. I'm making three, a small, medium, and large, so they fit inside of each other. I don't know if i want to attempt a tiny one. Maybe I'll make one with 5 1/2" squares for the medium. It would be a tight fit tho
@NotchesSewingКүн бұрын
This is the smallest I've made. I didn't like the look of the larger ones I tested.

@NotchesSewing I definitely like the size you made in the video best. The larger ones I made are not as cute but I think the grandsons will like them.
