Charcoal works great as a filler as well big fella. Wood ash rubbed on punk wood to darken it a bit easily catches ignition with fresnel lens photon rays. Charred punk wood is excellent when used with a ferro rod or flint and steel. Cheers 🍻

Believe it or not but powdered up rust also works great as a filler fire rolling. David West has videos showing this. Cheers 🍻

Thank you for your great comment. Much appreciated and I will keep posting videos. All you need to practice the skills is a bit of cotton wool and some fine ash from a burnt out fire. Be patient, practice and you will get it going. Please let me know how you get on ! All the best. Herman
