ty, i never tried doing seamless textures cus i was scared it would be really hard, this makes it 100 times easier

Glad you learned something, the result isn't 100% perfect but it's definitely better than obvious seams.

this was great, thank you! I actually managed to make a good terrain material to Unity with this. Photshop Beta has AI generative fill, which worked even better than the content aware fill.

how did you select the second area and then merge the two selected areas?

Marquee rectangle selection tool, holding shift adds to the selection.

Quick and dirty, but efficient for time. If you've got access to the new generative fill features then you'll find better results there.

You want to offset by half the value of your textures resolution. So in my case it's 1080/2 = 540.

If this method did not work out for you, and you have access to the new generative filling options in Photoshop then consider using those as they will produce a higher quality final result.
