You showing the easy to use system. Great system. I'm a welder and built my grow light system from a discarded twin bed frame BIG! After having to hold plants because a few weeks late spring, then they over grew my station and needed to move them because they were oversized onto my floor...Well my station has 27 " height on top....bottom having 24 " height and last season I keep my plants in until ground temperature 60s for peppers ( believe YOUR sujusted temperature) and 50 ground temperature for tomatoes 🍅. Yeah late spring happens and my surprise had earlier veggies than ever. Zone 6a mid Ohio June 20 salad sugar gold tomatoes and bell peppers full size a few days before July and Black Krim and Thornbury Terracotta between July 1 and 6th. Truly without a green house that's unbelievable and I am 71 and gardening my lifetime

I've used a 3' long version of the same style shelf for the past two years, with old circular reflectors over each of two shelves, with regular 14 watt (100 watt equivalent) LED 5000K bulbs hung quite low. Once seedlings get going, I rotate trays to a tall daylight-lit window area, so as to benefit them with cooler temperature light and so as to allow more trays of seedlings to be grown overall. While full-season growing calls for 6500K, the 5000K bulbs/window combination has worked fine for the seedlings!

Really nice, very informative video, many thanks! I use something quite similar and have also added heating mats, my plants really appreciated that, haha👍😊🌱🌵💚

KZbin a "taut line hitch" knot to so easily use a piece of rope or nylon string to raise and lower the lights. It's a really amazing and so simple way to raise and lower your lights.

Cool. I have an entire video I uploaded on how my Growlights and Heat mat rack is set up. I'd drop a link to the video, but not without your OK .

My only suggestion is adding heat mats they really increased my germination

Yes! We'll be germinating our peppers/tomatoes on the heat mat for sure.

Also definitely add an insulation layer between the wire shelving and the heat mats otherwise you'll lose a lot of heat to the open air below the shelf and the metal conducting the heat away.
