I bought the expensive sequin mold but have never used it. I love how the steamer made the "sequins" shiny. I too would have opted for black, even without the backpack theme. Thank you for showing us how.

Oh you should definitely use it! It’s so satisfying to peel it back once it’s imprinted. You’re so welcome 🥰💕

Hi Ashleigh, gorgeous cake as usual! Well done! Is it shiny because you've just steamed it or did you put something on it like a glaze or something else ? I love watching your videos!!!
@SweetDreamsBakeShoppe3 жыл бұрын
It's shiny because I just steamed it, but it does remain slightly shiny. However, if you want a shiny finish that stays use a little bit of corn syrup and vodka mixed together!

I love make cream cheese buttercream and prefer a stronger cream cheese flavor. Although, I find when I make cream cheese buttercream in particular is doesn't hold up as well as I would like during piping (it hold shape, but too soft). I usually can fix this by adding a little more butter and more powdered sugar, but then I loose the intensity of the cream cheese flavor. Do you possibly have any suggestions?
@SweetDreamsBakeShoppe3 жыл бұрын
I personally am not a huge fan so I don't work with cream cheese a lot HOWEVER the limited advice I could give is trying a cream cheese emulsion or extract to help boost the intensity :)
