If you were to glued your frames back to back instead of top to the back it would have fit together perfectly I'm just letting you know I make them all the time but it's beautiful though

Yes you can add any items that will fit into the casing of the frames. You can customize it based on your needs. Just ensure it is glued down or pinned so they don't move.
