Are the distress ink and ink pads are different or can you use them both for the same thing like stamping

Madeline Rodriguez some people use their ink pads to do ink blending but remember that they will not react if you plan on spritzing with water. Also, distress inks can be used with stamps to do your stamping.

I guess it's because you can see them clearly this way. Otherwise the glitter would be in front of the image

How do you get the edges not to come apart after it has been sealed? This happens with the slightest touch to the edge, it breaks open
