Thank you for this. I will be making me a set soon. I want to trigger 12v relays. And then using regular 12 leds. I have smoked clear taillights that are vertical. I would like to put the led’s in the and get that same sequential lights. Would this chip trigger a 12volt relay? Or would I need some amps for each out put?

great video! i followed every step that you did and the schematinc too and in the end the leds don t do the effect that you have showned here...i bridget the 9 pin and almost all leds blink toghther and not one by one like yours could you tell me why?? then i removed the bridge to the pin 9 and only the first and last led light up even at loud music...

LM3915 IC works on 2 modes, DOT/BAR. IF u connect its 9th terminal directly with the +DC. it will work in Bar mode, if u disconnect it, it will work in Dot mode, means only a single led will glow up. This schematic is basic schematic of VU Meter, if u need a good one, just visit indian xtreme audio on youtube,

In short, I did all the nice and good, two, stereo purpose. When I'm hooked up, it's going to be all over the signal. The hang is either distorted or the signal is zero. The vu didn't work, but neither did the strong. I came across the 2.2mF capacitor to take everything. Give me a solution so I can use it. I'd appreciate it if you'd help me out, I'm 66 years old, it'd be nice to understand and understand. Thank you.

How can i reverse the LED lighting from right to left? I want to use it for a fuel tank level indicator but the resistance of the float it has reverse connection (when the float is on the top of the fuel tank it shows that is empty) and i can't change it (is in the fuel tank of my car).
