Today I'm going to attempt to teach you guys how to make a custom skateboard mold at home! There used to be a template you could download on diyskate.com but that website no longer exists sooo that being said be sure to pay attention to the beginning of the video so you can learn exactly what I did if this method works out.. This process could be terribly wrong but based off of how it turned out I think we're going to be okay!

YOU SURE WORKED HARD For mould. HERE's a question for you: why you always wear a "warm" cap on your head? at least it seems like that you wear it always. I saw the cap on every video.

I've had a few videos without wearing a hat but I don't really care for how I look without one and it keeps my hair out of the way 😅 I've just always worn a hat so it's kind of my thing I guess 🤷‍♂️ eventually when my hair is long enough I'll have it looking like legolas or do a viking look

Yes wood expands and contracts but bondo does not.

Out of topic: can I use 86a 55mm for normal skateboard? I’m beginner and in the process of building my board. Since I’m starting now I kinda want to cruise around the neighbors and Not do tricks until I’m comfortable with the board. So what wheels should I start off

That would be a good wheel for cruising its softer so it's going to give you a more comfortable ride and making it where you don't have to push as much! If you do 55mm you may get a 1/4in riser pad and 1.25in hardware so you don't get wheel bite as much!

@@twizy14twice48 sometimes they do and sometimes they don't it's kind of random🤷‍♂️ the riser pads just raise your trucks away from the deck a little and will help with wheel bite thats basically it though! No worries with the questions I love helping out!

Thats a great question 😅 so I didn't like how it was coming out and I never got a chance to finish it.. originally this video did horrible and I found a cheaper solution to getting decks that was way less work but had really good quality... that being said since it's starting to pick up I should probably bring this back and finish the project Especially now that diyskate.com is back up and running
