I love all your videos! They motivated me to buy a serger and make more items. I’m still struggling with doing a hem. Does rib knit fabric need to be hemmed on the skirt?

It really depends, most of the ribbed knit I use doesn't fray so you can leave raw if you'd like. You can also do something like a lettuce hem or rolled edge hem with the serger to finish the edges if you'd prefer not to leave raw.

Yes its the same pattern just the neckbanded version 😉 can be done either way

Do you ever do a serge the edge on the bummie skirts! Or do you leave them as they were cut? Do you hem them in any way? Thx so much❣️

If its a fabric like double brushed poly spandex I leave the raw edge because it won't unravel when cut on double fold. If its a fabric that will curl or unravel I do a rolled hem (I have a short tutorial video on the settings I use and how to do it on serger)

I would love to make this but can’t figure out how to put snaps in the crotch . My daughter hates to get dressed so all of the clothes like this have to have snaps so I can’t change her diaper without undressing her .
