What about using glue, construction adhesive to install these panels? In a proposed location I can’t afford to install battens, and lose another 3/4” of ceiling height. And cons to using glue, vs. mechanical fasteners?

You can easily use glue to mount the panels. We recommend to use half a tube per panel :)

I'm ordering mine on Monday as I just met someone to help, or do most of the install. I need to make sure they have edge slats. They are in North Carolina, me - about as far away as one can get within the continental US. Get the sample box, worth it, brown oak looks the most like real wood IMHO.

You will of course need to fix the panel to a wall or ceiling, but the slats will not bend :-)

It's a lifter for plasterboards - I am not sure about the model, but you can find vary kinds online :-)

The width of the slats is 27 mm. and the space between each slat is 13 mm. The thickness of the slat itself is 13 mm :-)
