Cute journals. My grandmother would have been fussing at you about your finger right in front of the sewing machine foot. She’d say it’s a good way to eventually run the needle through your finger. I think she learned that through experience.

A great glueing tip is to glue the smaller piece to the bigger piece. … but I forget this all the time 😂 loved seeing you flip over the cover to glue - so me 😂

I love this. I made a cloth cover for my super blasted journal. Its still super blasted, but I made the cover so that it wraps around to help hold it all inside. Lol!

As a quilt maker, I would never cut into a quilt, unless it was irreparable or hideous, lol. You could just make your own small “sample” quilt for the sole purpose of making the journal. I was thinking it would be a great way to practice quilting on a small scale.
