The use of splines to build the shelf support is really clever. I love Wood Magazine and read every issue from front to back.

Really Cool! I just made a Spline Jig over the weekend, very similar to yours. I love the shelf support idea by making a spline that goes all the way through and I love the idea of the spline on the lids. Very very cool idea. Thanks for sharing!!!

Having a hard time finding a flat top saw blade, any recommendations?

You have to allow for expansion and contraction for the bottem, you can't make it tight it has to float. Plywood would be ok.

In this grain match method, the grain wrap will work on 3 of the 4 corners. So plan to have #4 in the back. In this example 1 and 1 wont match as they are on opposite ends of the board. There is another technique that will give you 4 matching corners, but you need a thicker but shorter board. Great video, thank you!

You told how to make a box that has a continuous grain. But, the grain at the #1 joint will not match. Somewhere I saw a demonstration of how to make a box where the grain appeared continuous all the way around. It had to do with re-sawing and then you had book matched pieces. Could you do a video on that? Thanks. :-)
