How to Make a Sublimation Tumbler with Infusible Ink

Did you know you can use Infusible Ink transfer sheets to make your own skinny sublimation tumblers? The answer is a resounding yes and we are here to show you how easy it is to do!
In this video tutorial, we’ll show you an intermediate look at setting up your design in Cricut Design Space, cutting and weeding Infusible Ink sheets, trimming and wrapping the Infusible Ink sheet around your tumbler, applying the shrinkwrap with a heat gun, baking the tumbler in your convection oven, and finally a fun project reveal. With these few simple steps, you’ll be on your way to a new drinkware set in no time!

Can you use your oven afterwards for food or is it not safe for food after that?

If you are using the oven to sublimate you will not want to cook food in it as well.

Would you recommend using the same temp and time for sublimation or would that be different settings? I have a convection oven i just got, going to try sublimation soon but these ink sheets seem pretty awesome to do to!

Yes, you'll type out the text you want in silhouette and then cut it with your normal infusible ink sheet settings that you would usually use! 😊

Great video but you're supposed to avoid getting the oil on your fingers/hands on infusible ink sheets. Use a brayer or wear gloves if you have to push down right on ink and also when you crack out the design.

What would be temps and times for a tumbler press??

380º for 60 seconds and then rotate to make sure you get the other side as well and press for an additional 60 seconds. 😊
