Just a tip-you no longer have to use that cardboard piece--amazon has made a silicone rubber piece to go inside your mug press. And you don't have to use that straw to raise. The silicon mat will allow you to raise your mug without that. I saw all of this on another KZbin that someone else did

I just purchased a mug press and it doesn't work. It just blinks orange. I called Cricut and after uninstalling and reinstalling the Cricut software, I was told that they are working on a system update because there is a defect. I hope they get it fixed soon so I can try your project. It is beautiful!

I have an Epson ET 2760. That's a tough question. I really love the Cricut Mug Press because it's so easy. The only problem with it is that you're limited to doing one Mug at a time.

I thought your first try looked very nice for those who prefer pastel colors. I'm glad you gave this demonstration with the mug press. I have one myself but was not sure of how I would be able to use it with the tumblers. I have been considering buying one of the larger heat press machines to accommodate the but thanks to you, the regular cricut machine will do for now until I decide whether or not I want to invest in the bigger machine.

You are correct! All 20 oz tumblers are not the same dimensions. I have to keep track of the tumblers that I purchase from Amazon, The Stainless Steel Depot and direct from China. Each are 20 oz but not the same.

I just purchased my first set of 20 oz sublimation tumblers from Amazon (6 for 45.00) they come each in a box with a metal straw & brush) I also purchased a toaster oven because I first tested one tumbler I had & saw it was narrow to use my Cricut Mug. But after seeing your video I will try one using my Cricut mug press.

That's awesome! I don't think I will try the toaster oven, because I really don't have anywhere to put it. The mug press works just fine. I recommend getting the silicone sleeves.
