I really like this one for the simplicity and ease of making it. What a relief I can use up random beads and no metal findings to fuss about!

Love this! I was asked to teach a bead class for a yoga retreat on a beach in Mexico, and I needed something really simple. This is just perfect. Thanks!

I'd try candle wax on the end of the string or burning it a bit to make it easy to string

Thank you so much! If is a great lightweight summer piece. Also, here is a link to the cord if you are looking for a great versatile one that can fit inside the hole of most beads! www.potomacbeads.com/beadtec-waxed-linen-cord#attr=

Very helmful thank you. I just don't know how long is your thread. Can you tell me in cm or inches, please.
@Potomacbeadco6 жыл бұрын
Hi Elizabet, the thread was 5 feet (60 inches) but you can make it any length you like. The knots will shorten it a little bit each time.

Could you give me more information on the waxed linen cording size you are using and are the bead sizes between 4 and 6 or 8mm? Thanks!
@Potomacbeadco6 жыл бұрын
The waxed linen cording is .5mm. You can really use any size of beads with it.
@jordandormido253911 жыл бұрын
I've made one of these, but I found the holes in the beads too small to fit the wax cording. I don't know how she's doing it in the video cause I used the same size beads and string.

I love the brown corded necklace! What type of beads are those?

They are mother of pearl chips: www.potomacbeads.com/Chips-Mother-of-Pearl-Beads-s/2861.htm

I am brand new at this and I have 1mm cord and regular beads mostly 6mm. I am unable to get the beads on the cord? What am I doing now.
@Potomacbeadco4 жыл бұрын
You could try a leather wrap bracelet but using the cord you have, if it's stiff enough. If it's very soft, it might not hold up as well as leather cord. kzbin.info/www/bejne/nYPYpo19p8msiZY

How wide is the wax linen cord please
@Potomacbeadco6 жыл бұрын
About 2 meters is fine, but this depends on how long you want to have your necklace, Bre.

@@iluvthekjv1611 it comes in various thicknesses, so whatever fits your bead holes. In fact you can run any piece of string/cord through beeswax and make your own.
