I´ve played this game (the arcade version) back in the 90´s, with a friend and a cousin for 3 summers, we were adicted, but one time, last day of vacation, i was playing alone with my last coin (friend and cousin were back home the day before), it was the 3rd match (a tie) when suddenly i was able to do the "supershot" without knowing it, I was so in awe, even a kid who was staring at my game was shocked by that. When I´ve met my friend and cousin I´ve told them what was happened and they didn´t beleved me.For years I´ve thought it was the weirdest thing happened to me in a videogame, finally (thansk to youtube) I know that it wasn´t a dream. It was like doing a fatality without knowing the key combination.

Exactly the same, I had it when I was about 8 years old I'd play it every week at my dad's football club, i got pretty good. Think it was 20p a go (UK) I got too quarter final and made a super goal. I'm 35 years old now and remembered and checked KZbin to see if anyone wrote about it haha class

In the sequel Taito Cup Finals however, "Super Shot" was unfortunately shown quite a lot in the rolling demo. I had no idea the original game Football Champ had them too, I just thought it was a new feature for the sequel.

I played this game so much back in the arcades in the early 90's. There was a team in black shirts I recall too - we called it the team of Cantonas (this was before he did his 'Flying Leap'). Only once after a couple of years of playing did I unknowingly do a Super Shot. It was incredible! I was in the Final game and had just gone 2-1 down with 10 seconds left. I managed to score a 6 second goal and then from the next kick off I just took a wild long shot and the screen went black.. GOAALLL!!

I did actually do this once from inside my own half. Not sure who I'd picked as captain, but I played it from about 30 yards out to the left wing just before halfway. I also had another super shot that wasn't a goal! Too many players in the way (more than 2).

I've never seen these moves but I saw another super shot once. In the one I saw, the screen turns black, then the player appears still with the ball in the middle of the court, then he shoots and the ball pushes ALL the other team players and the goalie into the net. Couldnt find a video of that, but I swear I saw it in Hat Trick Hero.

the point is; how to see the number of the players BEFORE high pass to them? the number is visible just after they got the ball- 0:57 How did you know - before passing to him - that the #10 player was over there? without seeing his own number? how did you recognize him?

I used to love this game. Love FIFA but they should make a jokes version where it’s the same but has over the top power up moves and no fouls count. Like Shaolin Soccer. Check out Brutal Sports Football. It’s very old but again they should do that now. Bats and mine fields haha. It would be so funny.

básicamente para hacer el tiro tenes que pasarle el balón al capitán que elegís al principio del juego,estos se posicionan en diferentes partes del campo de juego,asi que tenes que prestar atención a eso,el super tiro solo puede ser posible cuando falten 30 segundos y solo si estas empatando o perdiendo el partido,se la pasas al capitán(tiene que ser un pase alto)y este hace el tiro solo,ah otra cosa el capitán no tiene que estar corriendo,tiene que estar parado en el lugar,eso es todo,suerte

I remember never being able to do thi sin the arcade when one day the screen went black and I thought the game broke then my player came out of no where somersaulting through the air and he then flying kicked the ball like a martial artist. The ball cut through the net. I was ecstatic that day. happy memories.

i was playing this game againsts a friend and the game suddenly stopped and this came across the screen OH WHATS HAPPENING.. then this lady streaker comes onto the oval and starts flashing her breasts and the referee spins around and falls over. tgen the game starting again. i must say it was the funniest and weirdest thing i have ever seen in a game. we still talk about it to this day hilarious stuff..

Yo lo juego hace más de 20 años 22 años ya jaja y recién me salió ni sabia que existía ese tiro lo hice en la final contra Holanda!!!gane 2 a 1 jeje lo haces en los últimos 30 segundos y tenes que hacer pase alto al capitán que elegiste.
