I have the same water texture product but struggled with application. The dropper technique seems to be a great idea. Thanks!

Glad it was helpful! You can get those droppers at most pharmacies.

Finishing my dire troll and wanted his base to be swamp based. Awesome man thanks!

I didn't know there was a DIRE troll! Is that new to 5e, or did I just miss that in the old Monster Manuals?

@@WatchItPaintIt 5e yeah. Miniature is from the wizkids night painting set. It's really cool

If you can get your hands on some UV resin, it makes this basing process SO much faster.

@@WatchItPaintIt I'll keep that in mind, thanks

I like this tutorial but a question about it : once everytime is dry how attac the miniature at the bases?
@WatchItPaintIt3 жыл бұрын
You need to pin the model to the base. I use a hobby drill (or a pin vice drill) and paper clips for the pins. It's much easier to show you. I haven't made a video for this channel yet, but you can watch this old video I made: kzbin.info/www/bejne/sHuYfpqwiKymmNk

Can I ask how you attach models to a painted base? Because when I use super glue it leaves this white cloudey frosting around the glued area
@WatchItPaintIt2 жыл бұрын
Yes - that always happens - What I try to do is scrape away a bit of the paint before I glue - OR - put poster putty or painters tape where the feet will go. Then I peel it off after painting the base, glue on the model then do a bit of touch up around the feet.

did similar to this to make a toxic spill.
@WatchItPaintIt3 жыл бұрын
Yeah totally works for that too!
@woodslore85373 жыл бұрын
@@WatchItPaintIt I did not have and still do not have water effect so I had to get creative. I used a mix of white glue, paint and water to make the spill. If I had a way to show it I would.

@@woodslore8537 If you have some gloss varnish, you could use that as well - or even just paint over the puddles with the gloss to make it look wet.
@woodslore85373 жыл бұрын
@@WatchItPaintIt that is what I did. I has a few different varnishes. I also drybrushed the cork board to give depth.
