ingredients:
raw dried groundnut
boiled water
salt
In a bowl, pour in some boiled water and add salt to the hot water, stir properly until the salt is absorbed. then pour in your groundnut into mixture and cover for about 5 minutes to 10 minutes, in another bowl strain out the water from the groundnut until there is no water is remaining and dry your groundnut with a air dryer or directly under the sun for some hours, until it is completely dried and is ready to be fried in a hot pan with garri flakes optional. after frying allow to cool down, before you start removing the chaff and is ready to to eat. ‪@Edithsensational_kitchen348‬

Garri is cassava flakes, if you don't have access to garri. You can use semolina flour to fry or roast your groundnut. Thanks for the feedback

Thank you. Please is it same process if we are using newly harvested( not dried) groundnuts.

Preferably use dried groundnut, you will not get the desired flavour or sweetness, if you use newly harvested groundnut.

What if there is no sun and you don't have dryer to dry it? How do you dry the groundnut? Can you do room drying ?

Yes you can, dry it in the warmest place in your house. It will take a longer time to dry, make sure to always turn it to avoid moisture.

Hello, thanks for your feedback. I used cassava flakes (garri) or you can also use semolina flour to roast it.

This is very nice. Please, can I dry in the oven instead of sun drying? Thank you for this detailed video

You cannot dry it in the oven, else it will either bake or be roasted but if you have air dryer you can use it.

How much salt do you use please and how much water from the kettle?

Hello, I appreciate your feedback. I used 3 tablespoons of salt because of the quantity of groundnut, so it depends on the amount you are using and 2 litres of hot water.
