Hello I think maybe you could be adding a lot of salt? Because notice mine are white when I begin but by the finish time the salt is no longer on them. Again you soak for a little while I used to sprinkle salt water when on the pan and they would stay white. Try and share feedback.

yes it does...my pan was non stick but most of the non stick come out now its stainless and still comes out the same

I used to wash first which makes cook time longer. I'm trying your method in a short while. I prefer without salt. Hope it won't affect the final result

If you are a salt person try with a little...if not then don't. It will still be ok. Washing is not a must n yes takes time. Try n share feedback

weather you put salt and water or not...they will turn color as soon as they cook. You could put them in a oven though or better still deep fry them. Hope it helps. But it also greatly depends on the type of ground nuts you use
