Helpful tip, if you get recruited by the orc dude from the Dawnguard and see him outside the fort shooting his crossbow, you can talk to him about the crossbow and he will give you one plus a bunch of bolts. You can then throw the cross bow away and talk to Isran and Isran will give you a crossbow seeing you are unarmed and will give you more bolts. Just much faster than sitting around collecting the bolts that the cowardly guy shoots at the boxes.

there is another thing, if you explore the fort a bit and get upstairs and lead outside there are some items there too including 2 pieces of dawn guard items [gloves and a helmet,] a extra crossbow, and some bolts lay on the ground just explore the fort a bit for some extra goodies

As always, excellent video. For the next build I'd like to see how you can make a merchant build --> No weapons, no armors, only clothes, no offensive spells, only invocations or body guards or staff (never directly hit targets, exception for foes that need to be hostil for quest with Fury spell/staff), no stealing but still crush any foes on your path. A real integrated merchant

It's a kind of "boring" 'cause a lot of fast travel switching mage/knight/thief standing stone. Dungeons are quite easy but soon it may change in a dangerous way. Furthermore, I loot chests, items and corpses only when the dungeon is cleared (sorry for grammar)

Did this with my vampire lord, just staves at legendary. Did a pure mercenary build with my thief. Mercenary alone is already 2ez. Teldryn + goblin + staff of worms on vampire who got sanguin staff. 7 guys without a single spell or perkpoint. (Barabas & riekling also possible).

For anyone that didn't know, you can sneak attack ralof at the beginning with fists to raise sneak without leveling anything else. I usually do to 40 for stealth attacher builds for the 3x sneak bonus for bows. And it levels stupid fast.

This is the type of build I have in mind for my next character - the only differences, however, is that it'll be a Nord, and her name is Wilhelmina Sticky-Fingers. Her main weapon will be the Bow of Shadows w/ Nordic arrows; her entire gear is made up of the Blackguard armor, the Amulet of Articulation and a ring that'll boost bow damage and an extra enchantment geared towards boosting a thief skill. If I wasn't dead-set on playing my Spell-Knight right now, I'd totally start playing her.

Whenever I decide to do a build that uses poison I always love combining canis root/swamp fungal pod, Imp stool, and Mora Tapinella. I already use the Tapinella for the carry weight potions so it is easy enough to just get the other two, bith featured in this video! It does a double feature of Paralysis and Lingering health damage. Perfect for reverse pickpocketing or just killing enemies silently from afar!

Hey Fevvy, tip for collecting the jumping salmon. Use 3rd person camera and zoom out, spam jump/gather and move thumbstick as needed. You can collect the entire stream up to tundra homestead in 5-10 minutes including travel. 30-35 eggs. It's much faster than magic since you don't have to try to look for the materials floating downstream or stuck on an object in the water you can't see. I think a mage only playthrough would be a challenge. No smithing, no alchemy, no buying items, no opening locks, no pick pocketing and no combat outside of the frankly underpowered Skyrim spells. I get stressed just thinking about it.

Also for hunter backpack you dont always have to look for merchants, check any wardrobe or closet, they got a chance to spawn a backpack or multiple [i had in White River Watch and wardrobe that had 5 different back packs adventure,mage, and the hunter one.

There is a hunter's cabin near the Thalmor Embassy that gives you an ebony crossbow after completing a short and easy quest. I forget the name of it but its between the Embassy and the Merida's beacon place. There are 3 bandits hanging around it. A note on the table will trigger the quest.

If you get the Ritual Stone and go to Hag’s End at level one, you can activate the ability near where the door is and resurrect the Ancient DB member. By exiting quickly back into Skyrim, the thrall will teleport to you. Wait until the magic wears off and you get the armor set without having to do any of the DB questions.

one school of magic that you can add to a thief/assassin build is illusion train with muffle until you can get invisibility (might have to join the collage of Winterhold but you don't have to do anything once you're in)

If anyone else is wanting to do this, I do not believe they ever patched the glitch where using unrelenting force on any salmon to kill it guarantees a Salmon Roe, regardless of where it’s from. Was a glitch introduced when they added fishing & on a technicality it doesn’t level any skills or anything so it wouldn’t break the rules strictly speaking

Ironback Hideout has a letter where you can get a free ebony crossbow. i know u can just steal a daedric one, but if you want a good legit crossbow, that quest exists

I like to level my pickpocket with my alchemy in Whiterun. Pay the lady, take it back. A couple of levels in sneak too. It’s a win win win.
