Back for another comment: I would be happy to see hand tied bouquets, the ones which are possible from garden or shop flowers /materials 🤗 maybe that is an idea for summer/early summer. I am also ready to watch easter ideas too! 🤗Greetings, Judit

I have been following you since the start, but now I was away for a month, came back and your videos got even better than before! The sound, the video, the footages, your explanation. However it happened I appreciate it soo much! Learning a lot from you and dreaming about my flowers, which are growing soon in my garden 🤗 I will try to make a valentine's day arrangement, with all the knowledge I have from you, fingers crossed it turns out pretty 🤗 Greetings, Judit Ps: Love the idea of using supermarket flowers 🤗

I love this one, I’m making it in a red bowl with red roses for a 40th anniversary party. Do you think it would work with another flower added for a focal point , eg a red dahlia? And could you put flowers at the back? I love these tutorials, so clear and easy to follow.

Hi Sharon, thank you for all your great tutorials they have really encouraged me to have a go, my mum used to be a flower arranger and I always wondered if I could, you’ve helped me to jump in. I did an arrangement over the weekend following your guides, but I included some tulips that I had been given. I don’t know if this is normal but I’m sure they have continued to grown since I put them in the floral foam? They came with bulbs still attached so I cut them to length to go in the arrangement , but they have all grown at least an inch longer since Friday? Is that possible ? Thanks again, Andrew
@sharondower2 жыл бұрын
Yes indeed tulips continue to grow up to 4 inches after being cut from the bulb!!! That's often why I don't use tulips as they have a mind of their own ❤️

@@sharondower wow - thanks Sharon, useful lesson there but isn’t that amazing that they can this ! Awesome!!!!!
@sharondower2 жыл бұрын
@@stjohnsmenston9597 I love tulips, even got some for Valentines day of my husband. I find the best way to enjoy them is to leave them in a vase and enjoy their personalities as they dance around as they continue to grow. An old wifes tale says to put a pin through the neck of each tulips stem - but its never worked for me and my friend swears by a copper coin in the water and that makes them grow straight!

@@sharondower Yes something like (picture won't paste) with all tall line flowers in a large container, that would go on a table or a tall wide pillar. Would appreciate it muchly, but would understand if it's too much to ask. I just really love your work & your way of explaining things.

Can i use native fern instead of leather leaf. Can you recommend an alternative to the broom you used in the valentine arrangement, which i am hoping to do later tnis week . Thank you very much . X

Hi Wendy, native ferns or any native foliage will be great. Use whatever you can get hold off. Rosemary will work instead of broom or eucalyptus
