You go baby girl!!! I will be 54 in February and My Mom taught me when I was 6. I am a Mom and a Grandmother to 4 Grandbabies!!! YOU are awesome and amazing for seeing something that interests you and seeking out how to do I it from sources when there is no one in the family who knows how to do it and then following through and still watching and continuing to learn and better your technique!!!😉❤ Just in case you have never had anyone call you baby girl or heard it before, I still call my 24 year old daughter this and it is an endearment! Best of everything, lots of love and many blessings to you in you're life journey!!❤❤

Setta, this is one of the best tutorials I’ve seen on crochet as a whole. It felt so cozy and as if my aunt invited me over, poured me a cup of tea and then started teaching me how to make a granny square. Thank you, may you have a blessed day, too!

I learned the granny square as a child from my grandmother. I thought it would be easy to pick it up again, but I was wrong. After several trials with other videos, I found your instructions. I was able to make my first square perfectly! Thank you for your patience teaching!

I've been crocheting for over 40 years, and I could never make the perfect granny square until I watched your video. And now I can teach my granddaughters how to make the original pattern. Thanks, it's greatly appreciated❤🙏🏾

Thanks so much for this tutorial! I've tried granny squares before but i felt that chaining up in the pattern i followed felt weird, so I'm really thankful for this. I have been slowly knitting a basic knit blanket for a few years, and another one for a coupke uears before that, and I decided I wanted to do something easier to travel with, so I decided I would play around with granny squares and turn it into a blanket later. I'm enjoying making them so far, but I am only on my second.... but mmmmm as you can maybe guess from making two extremely boring knit blankets, I love repetitiveness I can zone out to. Thanks again!!

Im jogging my memory after a year of crochet burnout 😂 since im a granny square girl and i cant go back after learning it a few years ago. Even after a year break i have full muscle memory and im as fast as i used to be and maybe a little faster 😂❤ Edit: and look at that! Already remember everything :)

How much crocheting does one have to do to get crochet burn out? 😟 Not trying to be rude, just genuinely curious. I just started crocheting/loom knitting and don’t want that to happen to me…

I was finally able to do a granny square thanks to you but I think I’m having some issues or maybe I’m not doing it correctly or I’m crocheting too tight but they aren’t coming out square they are coming out tight and more circle like, is there any advice on how to fix that?
@SettasPlaceАй бұрын
😃💜👋🏾 I’m so glad this was able to help you make grannies! Ok , try using a little bigger hook and put 2 chains in the corners instead of 1 and if it’s still too tight, try adding one chain between your clusters also. Hope this helps!😃

@SettasPlace24 күн бұрын
Hey Maria😁 sorry this one is a little too fast for you. A slipknot is the first stitch that’s on your hook when you start crocheting I’m thinking about doing a very slow beginner, friendly tutorial so keep an eye out for future videos.
