How to make a TRANSFORMER Planner

Ok seriously?! This is ingenious! Love it! Was getting so stressed out trying to juggle all the difference planners and covers and this completely simplifies it down to what I need.

I like it. It's basically a Frankenplanner with covers separating the sections. I think I'm going to do that.

Frankenplanning is taking pieces from multiple planners to create ONE planner, This is just three separate planners on one set of discs. :)

Frankenplanners scramble my mind and are hard to set up. This is so easy and functional. Works much better. Put the planners you need to look at daily together on one set of discs. Got me a whole lot closer to real planner peace.

In some ways it’s semantics. In frankenplanning I can add three months of each of my different planners together but keep one fun cover - either from one of them or a happy notes or even one I make on the front but the three separate planners are in there divided with dashboards or tabbed dividers to keep them independent and separate. Or I can have the same three months my different planners together and add their original covers between them and be able to flip it open to the section of my choice and have that planner cover be the forefront. But other than inserting the covers in between each planner instead of the dashboards it’s still the same guts and same planners inside. It’s just how they are divided and what options you have to showcase as your planner cover.

I did this today because I don't think I will be writing in three different planners. I have a deluxe cover over my catch all so it can't flip like that and I do not want to break it. I feel better that they are closer together catch all and budget planner.

The key to removing pages is to hold the pages at the top of the discs and only 4 or 5 at a time. Pull toward you. Practice with some old pages. You will perfect it.

This just made my whole 2019 so much easier!!! I own a child care business and am incorporating early childhood education. I have 4 different types of planners for each aspect: food/menus, attendance/rates/appointments, curriculum/lesson plans/prep, and observations/assessments. Then I have my personal/life planner. I love the transformer method and have three transformers right now. I put the back cover than the front cover then the inserts, and it works beautifully. ❤️

Now ya got it. I have a planner that has 5 planners in it plus a notebook section. One that has 3 planners and one that has 4 planners in it. then did a mini transformer and still have 4 separate planners. Love the idea cause now only carry 8 planners instead of 14+

That is too cool!! I have one of the hard cases around my planner, so I don't really have a need for this, but I love the idea of carrying a few months of more than one thing at a time. I have my budget planner in with my regular planner, and this is a great way to keep them separate, but together!

I love that faith cover. I am currently using a transformer planner for catchall and budget and I love it! My favorite part is grabbing the rings and flipping it 😂😂😂

I think she is the first to give it a name. Lots of people in the Me and My Big ideas group on Facebook do this. I did this with budget, wellness, and main calendar last year. Just kept the covers in it sometimes. :-)

They DO make one for folks who 'create' things! I'm a multi-crafter and was wondering how to make the 'Happy Planner' for that. My daughter gave me a HP Notebook...just lined paper. Cover says, "life is lovely" and it has 3 dividers. You have given me some ideas as to making what I was gifted become a planner. Thank you!

Cool! I do this every year without the covers. I did this with my mini happy planners!! I seriously thought I was Frankenplanning until last year when I saw planner peeps glue pages together and so on to create one planner. I’m adding covers this year and expander discs👍🏾

This is the coolest Happy Planner idea ever. Bless you. I'm currently using a mini "Modern Marble" happy planner as a faith journal and for sermon notes. I'm considering upgrading with purchasing a classic rose gold 18- month Happy Planner as a faith journal. I'm mainly considering this due to the fact that I need more room to decorate my weekly spreads and want to write a verse a day to utilize the monthly section. Also, I did purchase a classic " Geo Dreams" planner for college. I prefer more neutral spreads due to the fact that I'm able to utilize all of my Agenda 52 and Happy Planner " Watercolor" stickers. What does anyone recommend?

I never knew this had a name but This is what I've done with 3 of my planners for 2019. I merely just use the front & back covers of my catch all planner and then the front covers of each of the of 2 planners I'm using. Now I know it has a name too. 🤗😃😃

I did the same thing! I have a deluxe cover for my main planner and then put the front covers of the miss maker and healthy hero inside the deluxe cover. I didn't want it to transform completely because I love my deluxe cover, but I like being able to tell where one ends and the next one begins.
