There is an easier way to get that spring back in the french barrettes. If the clip is open, slide the spring under the clip part, lay it on top of the open end and just close it. Falls right into place without worrying about bending it too much.

+Cindy Holmes Hi Cindy! It has been awhile since we have done this tutorial, so we can't remember the exact size of the French Barrette. Sorry about that. However, it is one of the medium sizes. So, probably either the 2" or the 2 1/4". Have a great day!

Hey Sinyah, it does not have to be hot glue, although that is what we recommend. Any adhesive that holds well should do the trick, but experiment and let us know if you find anything that works well!
