Growing up in Haiti we had this soup every sunday for breakfast, by the time New years day came I didn't care for it much. I will try your meatless version.

The original recipe by Marie-Claire Heureuse Félicité Bonheur didn’t have any meat or pasta. So yes to keeping it original without meat.

The lime did the trick! I also added 1/4 tsp of vinegar

Hi Annette, what kind of pumpkin do you use? Thanks 🙏🏾
@dorannette263 жыл бұрын
I believe it was a Munchkin pumpkin, but any yellow flesh pumpkin or squash will do.

Annette once you pulled out the culantro I said you’re official. I literally called my mom before watching your video to get the recipe. I’m trying to figure out what kind of fresh pumpkin to buy. Is it butternut?
@dorannette262 жыл бұрын
You can use butternut or any orange Flash pumpkin in my opinion.
