But seriously, the woman is one of the busiest celebrities today. She's an actress, director, author, cook, mother, wife. And if I left anything out I apologize. My point is she still is kind and caring enough to take the time out of her very demanding schedule to show us how to live a healthier life something at which she doesn't have to do. But she selflessly does it out of the kindness of her heart. And instead of thanking her coming on here knocking her beliefs which is really none of our business and is completely off the topic of food and health is just tacky. I know nothing about Scientology but no one has the right to bully ppl for their beliefs. And she's not on here trying to push her beliefs on anyone. She is reaching out trying to help ppl and I thank u for that Laura you are a priceless gem!

TERRY fitzsimmons I agree....95% of the rich celebs are in Scientology..... So who cares it's their life, their money they're throwing away, not our business. I love Laura and her sharing with us.

My favorite two things Laura said in the video is ‘shal-lots’ and ‘protect your fingies’. Awwww. Thanks for the great video Laura

cook the pepper over a flame until its starting to blacken all the way around. put it into a brown paper bag while still hot, roll up the end of the bag and then let it steam. after 20 minutes the skin comes right off and also has a great sweet flavor. i chop and de-seed my peppers like you do. i like shallots so much that would rather use them instead of regular onions. as a kid i hated bell peppers cuz thats all we had in the store. i thought they were ok on pizza but thats it. i was in my fifties before i discovered red, yellow and orange bell peppers. i was like “omg these are delicious where you been all my life?” now I use red all the time, they are my go to pepper that i use every week. thats a great idea, I’m going to start using them in my taco meat, meatloaf, on top of my burgers. thank you! 💕

It's very nice to finally see an actress who actually knows how to cook! My dad says: you immediately know that someone is good in the kitchen when he/she can peel potatoes. I know it's kind of stupid, but Laura, you can (even if in this case it's pepper). Respect!🙌🙌

Very nice.. I do the same thing you did here.. except I’ve NEVER peeled the pepper, in which I’ve never thought about doing, but hate that sometimes the pepper is a little toothy.. so thanx a million for that tip! 😊😉

I never even thought to peel the pepper for a sweeter taste in a recipe. Thanks for the tip!
@jla46865 жыл бұрын
Wow, I never realized peppers could be peeled that way! I've only seen them grilled and then the burnt skins scraped off after that. I think cooking the flesh of the pepper along with the garlic and shallot would definitely help develop the sweetness like you said. Great tip! I'm making burgers tomorrow. I'll definitely be trying this out! Thank you for sharing these tips with us.😁

Lana Parrilla, you have to eat, if you have to eat you might as well enjoy it, and cooking and eating with someone that makes you happy would be a awesome thing to do. I've eat'n fast food for over 22 years, you can mostly only get hamburgers (love hamburgers) but what if you wanted something else, then you have to cook it, there's lots of foods i'd like to try, Bottarga, homemade Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Borscht, Shchi, Solyanka. Those are some Italian and Russian dishes, there's more, i'm not sure which one is the best, gonna have to try them all and more. Also i want to walk somewhere scenic with you Lana, then we could also try making some food on a little grill in this scenic place, so many fun things to do and enjoy!
@earth1115 жыл бұрын
also if that't not something you would like to do, we could find something else to do, but as i get older i enjoy the simple things in life, walking, cooking, eating, and most of all the beautiful Lana Parrilla.
