These velvet pumpkins are so cute and so easy to make! 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐝: (𝐋𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐬) ✅ Velvet fabric - amzn.to/2cVPSEx ✅ Heavy thread - amzn.to/2cVQoT8 ✅ Long needle - amzn.to/2clOp9E ✅ Scissors - amzn.to/2clNqX2 ✅ Polyester fiberfill - amzn.to/2cuCRAD ✅ Hot glue gun - amzn.to/2cqoOxr ✅ Dry rice or beans ✅ Round objects to make your circles - plates, bowls or even pizza pans. My 3 sizes are 10", 12 1/2" and 15" in diameter. ✅ Stem - I saved stems from last year's pumpkins. You can also ask at a pumpkin farm, or use stems from butternut or acorn squash.

Great video! I have made some this year using fabric and sweaters. I have cut sticks as the stems. I will definitely save my pumpkin stems this year to dry out and replace the sticks next year! Take care!

Sand is better for weight than food products like rice and beans. Dollar Tree has 1lb. bags of sand in different colors. On my sewing machine I sewed small pouches out of scrap fabric filled with sand and stitched the opening shut.

Thanks so much for this great tutorial. What a great way to be able to use small pieces of fabric. I have a lot of burlap and wired twine (from OASIS Home & Hobby). It think some "rustic pumpkins" will look nice mixed in with the mums on my covered porch.

Thanks for the tutorial. My question is won't the rice make it too heavy?
