Isn't it great when you do all your carving and stamp work and wonder why the extra work with your carving. Then when you start adding your colours you see them bleed into the incisions and not travel any further and you get a nice crisp edge. Fantastic job on your first ever leather work Lily! If you re-wet your leather prior to sealing it, you can shape it around your arm, wear it for awhile, and it will dry more rounded to fit better 🙂

Dude you are so handy you can work with anything, wood, metal, leather. But the thing that makes you so good at all this stuff is your patience. I wish I had the patience to build a shelter or do this type of stuff. I'd get halfway, f*ck it up, then rage quit.

Leather work is a lot of fun Lilly. I did it for a while in the early 80s. I took a course at Tandy Leather. I used to make a lot of pistol Holsters. and Belts. I still have all my tools and some leather. I may get inspired by you and do something. You did a nice job for your; first attempt.

Too beautiful to actually use it :) Thumbs up. My store bought is jointed in the middle and covers both my forearm and bicep. Protects full arm and keeps clothing out of string path, but yours is way cooler.
