This is instructional and inspiring but the music also makes it very peaceful. I can’t decide whether to keep my eyes open to watch the content or close them and let my mind drift.

I have watched five other videos and yours in the one that inspired me and made me feel like I can do this. You have a very nice voice, you teach well and the music was lovely. Thank you. Your son did a great job also!🙂

Oh my goodness! Thank you Sophie! I've never thought about my voice that way, but I'm glad you enjoy it. 😅 And I'm SO GLAD you found my video inspiring! Yay! I wish I knew what wood I used. It was found during a local walk through the woods and I did not think to consider what tree it had fallen from. I would assume most woods would work as long as the branch does not have marks of burrowing insects that may have reduced the structural integrity from within. Best of luck on your walking stick carving! I have found it to be a fun and cathartic activity. Happy Trails!

Did you dry the stick?
@MaileSundquist2 жыл бұрын
Yes. We had it in our home for awhile once it was found, and then it was dried inside for about a month after bark was removed. Depending on the stick, and the time of year it was found drying times will likely vary.
