how to make them cycle waypoints? I mean, when they get to 5, go all the way back to 0 and never stop

So waypoints cant be used in game?

You can create a waypoint effect by pressing shift and right click where you want your units to go. (I'm assuming you are talking about skirmishes) SO you need to select your units, then hold down shift and then right click as many times as you want.
