Other than you saying your bouquets have a “definite back” you explain a bouquet structure exactly how I would! From the prepping and stripping to making sure the flowers are on different planes. It was reassuring to hear. I’d love to know more about how you transport your bouquets. Regular vases are always too narrow!

This is a lovely tutorial and you are a great teacher. I want to make my own wedding bouquet. If I make it the night before, will it still stay fresh? Can you give me tips on preserving/storing the bouquet the night before so that it still looks fresh when I use it the next day?

Thank you so much! I always make my bouquets the day before. After made just place in fresh water in a cool, dark (out of direct sunlight) space and it will be perfectly fresh for wedding day! A little spritz of water on the blooms doesn't hurt either. Best wishes!

Love this! Would you recommend making the bouquet a day before the wedding, or would the flowers last a few days after being cut short (assuming you put them in water and do the ribbon later)? This video is juat what I was looking for!

Hi! I always make the bouquet the day before as to keep it as fresh as possible. The best case scenario would be to make it the day before, keep the stems a little longer, and give a fresh, final cut the morning of, and then apply the ribbon. Best of luck! xx

Hi! I recommend making the bouquet 1-2 days before the wedding, or, ideally, the morning of. To keep fresh put in clean, fresh water in a very cool area (not below 38 degrees) out of direct sunlight.
