Yes, you are right depending on the style you want. If it's not attached, you can make the opening to be either at the front or the back. If it's front, definitely you will spilit the front

That's why you need a lengthy fabric to get this done, ma. So you are folding on the width of the fabric, not the length. And peradventure you still don't get your desired length then you will have to join

If your length is 30, why did you mark 25 on the pattern??? I think you are suppose to mark 33.6 inches from the edge of your pattern??? Please can you explain that to me🙏

Am sorry for the confusion....the assumed length was supposed to be 30, but because the pattern paper was not voluminous enough to accommodate it, that was why I used the 25 length
