This is like the BEST tutorial I’ve seen on this! Finally an organized stylist who uses a blueprint for laying the tracks! My brain thinks so organized that I hate guessing where I’m supposed to put the damn tracks because most you tubers edit out the most important part which is closing/ending the wig toward the top. Girlfriend, this video helped me step my wig making game up big time. Although I love to sew a wig on the machine, it had been a while and I wanted to try sewing my wig by hand again, but I always hated sewing by hand because all that work for the wig to be bulky or super big, however, that has all changed thanks to your video and method! I sat in front of my tv while I was ready to start on my wig and watched this and followed your instructions and this is the first wig that I have made where the wig came out not looking puffy, not bulky and most importantly I didn’t need combs or even glue to hold my wig on, it’s the perfect fit. I used the guidelines that you advised and it helped me tremendously. I even used my finger to properly determine how much to separate the tracks in between one another and the outcome was perfect. Have u ever thought about gluing on the tracks first to keep in place, then sew them in row to row for more added security? Like glue the first row of your track then sew it in.

I'm power watching wig making videos bc my youngest has alopecia and i don't want her to start school without hair :( With that being said your tutorials are AMAZING and how would you recommend attaching the wigs to her head? I would prefer the healthiest method for her scalp..looking for ANY advice bc this is waaaayyy out of my knowledge zone

Tiffany Powell just sew an elastic strap inside the wig . That will keep the wig on her head all day & she would be able to take it off at night to sleep. That is my preferred method because I don’t like sleeping with extra stuff on my head

I would look at the got 2 be glued tutorials on KZbin. It's a gel and it will stick the wig on for the day and with water the gel can melt off at the end of the day. I'm just thinking that since she's a kiddo and might be running around playing with other kids the elastic band might not hold it securely enough ( like if her hair got pulled or something). I use a tiny amount of gel each day, usually no cap and I take my wigs off at night. Good luck!

If I plan on making something based off a KZbin tutorial I find the best one and then slow down the video playback speed and pause and go......meaning I watch n pause as I'm making it. I've made wigs before but never with a 13x closure I will be using this video as a guide. Thanks

This was helpful, I watched the full video. I have made many wigs but for some reason ive been having crooked closures even after placing and pinning everything, so I have no idea what im doing wrong. So I will have to redo my entire wig :( I am going to be patient and try this technique for sure. Idk why this wig i specifically made with human hair was a huge disappointment for me, especially trying to wear it and its just bad all around lol.

I've made my own wigs before but I've never seen one made like this... This blueprint method is AMAZING and I will def try ths!! 🙌🏾 Lately I've been wanting to be able to wear my units in a ponytail as well.. Can I use the same method for sewing the tracks or should there be an extra track sewn around the edge of the cap to make it look seamless when the hair is pulled up?
