I've looked at a lot of videos on this. They all sucked. Some I couldn't hear. Some was in another language. Most skipped things. I saw one, the whole video was of this dude typing, and he ducked at it. He hit backspace more then any other letter. This video was perfect and it worked! I dont see that a lot anymore. Good job on this video!

Thank you so much! A few years ago I saw a TED video of Doctor Lee, and since then I have always wanted to set a wiimote whiteboard in my class. But I could not buy wiimote without knowing that software will work on windows 7 and up. Now it apparently works in windows 10 and with programs you've linked! I will install this thing in my class next week! Thanks again!

If you’re crafty, you can snipe wires and stuff like that. But I’d stick with Bluetooth. If you can’t find out how to connect your remote via Bluetooth, your device might not be compatible with Bluetooth. You need to buy a Bluetooth adapter in order to make it compatible.

Only if you want to use that software as a watermark dances around the screen. but if you don't use it - then you do not need to.

I need more details of what stage you are at when you get the message. According to the document. Are you using a wii origional remote? did you install the 3.5 net framework? Did you reboot after this, do you have bluetooth on for sure?

@@TeflDude Thanks for your response! Here's what I've done: I installed smoothboard, it does manage to connect to the wiimote but the up above errore message pop up... Yes I am using an original wiimote and I have Net framework 4.5. Tried to install 3.0 and 3.5 update but was not succesfull. I have an external bluetooth dongle.

@@antospin4004 I can only suggest using another bluetooth dongle of another make . I had issues with certain ones on certain old PCs. alsi test it on another wii remote too, this seems to be where the error lies. Don't buy the cheapest dongle either as you pay for what you get.

Try another dongle, different make and maybe a more expensive model, don't always go for cheapest as I also had issues with a cheap one. Also check it with another wii remote as they too can be damaged.
