excellent explanation thankyou. I don't get what the background is for, ? as when you print into paper then onto wind spinners your only getting the bee an floral. where does the background come into it ? thanks

It's just for visual appeal when you're listing your wind spinner.

Hi, I am at the part in your video that says to double click. I don't have a bar that says your design, but I have a thumbnail of the mock up. I double clicked on it and it does not bring up a separate link with a blank wind spinner. Help!! Thank you!

I followed this video step by step. Was so excited that I finally got the image on there and it filled the mockup. I printed it out and it's smaller than my 8" wind spinner blank. Why? I am beyond frustrated with this. When I bring my image onto the mockup, is it supposed to be extracted? I'm wasting so much ink and sub paper too. Please help me out here. Tia

Great video and wonderful explanation. What if you want to make a design for wind spinners and not just a mock-up?

There are a few way you could do that depending on the shape of wind spinner you're designing for. I'm not sure how familiar you are with design software but for a round wind spinner you could just design normally and then add a circle base to the bottom of your design in a solid color then flatten everything together.

When you download from Creative Fabrica, do you get a 10x10 square image or is it slightly bigger? What's preferred?

It really just depends on the designer who created the file. You should be able to size the files however you need them though.

Hello Crystal! I watched your video and followed the steps, however when I went to save there is no "smart object" button to use. Just a "save" and a "save more" tabs. Under the "save more" tab it has two tabs. One is "PSD to storage" and the other is "Save OSD/PSB". What can I do? Please help me.

What do you do with a mock-up wind spinner?

Hi! You would use the mock up when you are posting wind spinners for sale that you haven't actually made yet. If you have the design ready to go but don't want to make the actual product until you get an order, you can just make a mockup of what the finished product will look like.

When I add my design I do not get the shape that is provided on the template. Any idea why?

It depends on the design. Some are created in the same shape as the wind spinner and some are just square. It will work either way. Just make sure that the entire template is covered if you have a square design.
