Do you think a hardwood like oak or walnut would be too heavy for it to spin properly in a soft breeze?

That is sooo cool! I love it and I can't seem to find any around where I live or any that can be shipped around that size. Unfortunately nobody in my family does any woodwork- You don't by any chance sell them do you??

What is the size of this spinner ? And thicknes of material used ?

Each piece is 1/4 inch by 3/4 inch by 6 inches.

The wind spinner ended up 14 inches tall with 55 pieces. You can make it taller or shorter by using less pieces.
